Run for Coach Nic 5KTHE HISTORY: Coach Lou Nicoletti, affectionately known as Coach Nic, spent over 40 years coaching XC & T&F in the State of Delaware, as well as a short time in California. Coach Nic built Delcastle & Sussex Tech into distance running powerhouses with multiple Conference and State Titles. Hundreds of runners are better people because of life lessons taught by Coach Nic. Coach is currently at Harbor Healthcare in Lewes. Let's celebrate his life with one of his favorite sayings "Let's just run a poopin' 5k"
RACE TIME: 10:00 am start. Race day registration opens 8:50 am.

2019 was an epic day for running in the City of Salisbury and Wicomico County, Maryland! With just under 10% of our Marathoners qualifying for the 2020 Boston Marathon entry, this race is getting well known for being a great BQ event! And let's not forget our Half Marathon on the same course for 11 miles! Not ready for 26.2 or 13.1, well then try out our #RunSBY 5k event. With a start at the main finish line for the Full and Half, you are right in the mix of things when your day is over.
NEW in 2020, we are planning for some construction on our Downtown Plaza finish line, so the finish will be slightly different, but just one block over. With an expanded finish line with finish line food for the athletes and vendors, the atmosphere just screams FUN!!!
Did you know that our course is not only USATF certified (Full and Half) but is designed for our Physically Challenged athlete friends as well? Special categories exist if you are physically challenged or if you are part of a team or group that helps our Physically Challenged friends!
Come see what all of the buzz is about. With aide stations every 1.5 miles and port-o-johns at every one of them, you will find this course is one of the best supported races on the East Coast. |

The Salisbury Zoo will host its Annual 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, April 25th at 9am, rain or shine just before our Earth Day celebration. Sponsored by Vernon Powell Shoes, the Zoo Stampede benefits the Salisbury Zoo and guarantees fun for the whole family! Prizes will be given to the top finishers in every age category as well as random giveaways from VP Shoes and the Zoo. Participants can pre-register for $20 at VP Shoes or at the Salisbury Zoo. Run to Remember Memorial Day 5KMay 23, 2020

Honor our nation's fallen heroes this Memorial Day weekend by participating in the Run to Remember Memorial Day 5K Run/Walk at WinterPlace Park. The 2020 race is set for May 23. The information below will be updated closer to the event.
New in 2019 was the option for a 1 Mile Fun Walk, which will not be timed.
WinterPlace Park is located not far off Route 50 at 6737 Blue Ribbon Road in Salisbury. The course will be on wooded trails.
Refreshments will be available following the race, and there will be overall and age group awards. Walkers are welcome to take part in all or a portion of the race.
Proceeds benefit the Wicomico War Veterans' Memorial at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center, which honors the citizens of Wicomico County who lost their lives while serving the United States during war. |

The BLM5K is organized to help raise money for Ben's Red Swings and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, a blood cancer that Ben had.
The 5k will start at Ben's Red swings, go through the Zoo and then around The Salisbury Park trails.
At the halfway point we will have an aid station with water. Be prepared to have fun as we will have a few people to cheer you along your run.
Food and drinks will be served at the after party. We will have age group winner awards.
